Why Fly A Haitian Kite? For one thing, flying a kite is fun. In addition to having fun, it's a way to remember and honor the 250,000 plus Haiti earthquake victims; to create immediate jobs for artists; to bring the Haitian Diaspora and Friends of Haiti together as one; and to raise needed funds for Kylti's cultural and arts projects meant to help Haiti rebuild. Kylti Launches 11th Department Social Networking Website

October 27, 2010

Washington, DC. Kylti, a non-profit organization that promotes Haitian arts and culture, launches the 11thdepartment.org social networking website to encourage and to facilitate communication, exchange, and networking amongst Haitians in the Diaspora and in Haiti, between Friends of Haiti, and the international community.

The 11th Department website also provides members with all the social networking tools to connect with one another, make new friends, share best practices, find new business partners, share photos of events and projects, exchange ideas, dialogue, and much more.

In addition, users can use the site to let others know about their non-profit organizations, business ventures, or simply to post their events and opportunities.

Together, Kylti wishes to spread a piece of Haitian culture everywhere!
